Ever before AI entered the landscape, the people behind Verodat were in the business of solving the data problem. We’ve spent over 12 years working with business leaders to help get the most out of their data. For most of that time, we were refining a design system to help us build solutions. Faster, cheaper and more reliable for our clients.

The Data Supply Chain is Born
We soon realised current data management processes were flawed. As the big data movement grew, so did the scope of data projects. Companies without access to large data ops or analyst teams were unable to achieve what they wanted from their data. In order to fix this problem, version one of the data supply chain was born. We spent two years fine tuning a new approach, flipping how data quality is managed. Allowing data to be efficiently managed by all stakeholders.

A Seismic Shift
While AI had long been creeping into business tools, the arrival of Gen AI took things to a whole new level. The initial hype of promised revolutionary applications for business was quickly dulled by a single realisation. AI technology might have taken a leap forward but data management process were firmly stuck in the past. We quickly identified that this disconnect was a critical blocker to AI adoption.
Without the right data, delivered the right way – trusted AI adoption was almost impossible.
For the next 12 months we set out to remove this blocker, further adapting our data supply chain platform, gather360, to meet the needs of AI. We spent time in Harvard-MIT, worked closely with business leaders, data analysts and AI builders, and set out to find a funding partner that shared our vision.

Enter Verodat
After receiving funding from Act Venture Capital, we embarked on an exciting period of expansion and innovation. We rebranded to Verodat to reflect our bold vision and commitment to excellence, bringing a fresh and dynamic look to our company.
We also welcomed a wave of new experts to our team, each bringing unique skills and insights to propel our growth.
While we were still in stealth mode, we started a community of AI builders, a space for those struggling to overcome the data ops problem. We took a fully ‘glass box’ approach to our technology with this community and offered advice, repeatable design frameworks and technical documentation to help support their AI projects. Seeing solutions come to life and the AI innovation made possible by solving the data problem, further fuelled our passion for Verodat.
With all these enhancements, we began gearing up for a launch, ready to bring our Data Supply Chain platform to a global audience and transform the landscape of data management for AI.
